2012 DOOR- Denver Mission Trip

Akron Canton Airport is small , in order to get lost you would  have to try.  tere were a few food options including Arby's and Cinnabon.  We had a two hour delay that seemed to take days.  the plane had technical difficulties in Atlanta so we were al a little reluctant to board.  But in the end all went well. 

If having a plane delaed over 2 hours isn't bad enough our car rental experience made oru day that  much worse.  After we landed in Denver, we made our way by bus over to the car rental place.  Jen hopped in the short lineand made her way up to the fron to get our cars.  After a few moments Jen turned around with an angry look on her face.  Because of our delayed flight they had given our vehicles away.  So now we had to go stand in the extrememly long line.  All of us kids piled our suitcases in a pile and sat doen for the long wait.  We clilled, played cards, painted nails, and threw a frisbee.  Time passed by slowly but eventually we got to the front and got two vehicles.  We started the trek into Denver and got as far as the gate.  Security stopped us because we didn't have all the papers we needed.  Again we waited.  Finally we got out of the gate and to the church, arriving an hour late.  The day was a long one and it was exhausting but we made it!
