Most of you know the story well.  It had been three pretty good years.  Jesus, the itinerant preacher, had been on the road with his disciples healing, teaching and preaching.  And at times the crowds were large, swelling to as many as 5,000 men plus their families.  Jesus spoke to the people in parables -- stories they could understand.  Stories which seemed to be about one thing but were really about a whole lot more.
