Faith & Nurture

We are not an elected and we are not appointed. This is a totally volunteer group.  All are welcome to join us who wish to use their creative talents liturgically.

 This year we have created the following:

Friday Fellowship is one of many opportunities for members & friends of FPC to get together for fellowship, food, and adding to one's knowledge of life around us.

There are no officers, no expectations except to sign up to attend.

Friday Fellowship is held in Bruch Hall usually every other Friday noon during the school year.

The purpose and responsibilities of this ministry team is to nurture the faith of others thru worship, study, and education, and by encouraging  discipleship and strengthening congregational ties

The Wee Care Center, Inc. provides support for families by developing each child’s intellectual, social, and emotional potential in a nurturing educational environment.

Some of our accomplishments include:

The Adult Education Ministry Team, which is a part of the Faith and Nurture Coordinating Team provides opportunities for study and discussion for the adults of First Presbyterian Church.  The work of this team primarily involves Sunday morning offerings.

New Connections is a social group at First Presbyterian Church aimed at younger folks, many with elementary and preschool children. Events generally alternate between a family friendly activity, and an adult only activity with childcare provided at the church. Typically the events are scheduled on the third Friday of the month, although this does sometimes change depending on the event and time of year.
